Beat Auburn Beat Hunger

October 1 – November 14, 2019

Competition with a cause benefits Food Bank!
Beat Auburn Beat Hunger uses college football’s deepest rivalry to fight hunger in West Alabama.

Beat Auburn Beat Hunger (BABH) is gearing up for it’s 26th year of fighting hunger and poverty in the West Alabama community. The six-week long event will kick off on October 1 with a celebratory event at the Ferguson Center on the University of Alabama campus.

BABH will be accepting nonperishable food items as well as monetary donations for the West Alabama Food Bank through November 16. In addition to direct donations, BABH will hold percentage nights at Tuscaloosa and Northport area restaurants and businesses.

For anyone looking to donate, the organization encourages you to keep an eye out for their donation bins around campus, check your pantry for goods you may not use, and keep the “BABH” mission on your mind when you go grocery shopping. Should you choose to monetarily donate, just $1 can provide 2 pounds of food to someone in need.

BABH is an annual student-run event created by the Center for Service and Leadership (CSL) at the University of Alabama and the West Alabama Food Bank. Since its inception, Alabama and Auburn have combined to raise almost 6 million pounds of food for Alabamians in need.
